Our team recently ventured from our Cardiff HQ to a customer’s premises in Swindon. The property, which is a railway museum and visitor centre, houses historically important items and enjoys a large footfall of visitors and staff. For this reason, a sophisticated fire safety system is required.

The reason for our most recent visit was to preform a service on the business’ smoke vent.

When at the property, we carried out an annual service of the smoke ventilation system. This included testing all fans on all zones. When conducting our various tests, we found that all fans ran at speed and vents opened properly. All vents closed during slowdown too.

We were happy to report that the vent operated as it should.
