With many non-essential businesses in Wales now given the green light to reopen, we have received many enquires from salons looking to become ‘fire safe’ before opening its doors to the public.

Just recently, we were contacted by a Salon owner in Cardiff who wanted to ensure all of their fire safety equipment and procedures were in line ahead of welcoming customers into the building.

As part of a full audit of the fire safety equipment in the salon, we conducted a number of PAT tests on the hairdressing equipment, ensuring they were safe to use. This was in addition to maintenance work on the fire extinguishers and general visual checks on a number of other fire safety items.

When we left the property, we ensured all fire safety procedures were in place and all fire safety equipment was working to the best of its ability.
