Our team were recently sent on an emergency call out to JD Wetherspoons in Swansea; a busy pub in the heart of the Welsh city.

The premises was experiencing issues with their Fire Alarms. It was reported that the businesses’ sounders were not ringing in the basement, WC corridor or the ladies WC.

Once at the property it was immediately apparent that there was a fault needing addressing. Our Engineers checked the voltage and found the polarities were wrong. They then changed the wiring inside the 3 sounders which fixed the issue. While on site, the team found a snapped end of line in the sounder circuit 3 so replaced this there and then.
