All our Risk Assessors are experienced competent professionals. We use a unique tablet based risk assessment system, ensuring data is collected and analysed at the premises in real time. Non-conformance’s can be recoded, risk graded, photographed, placed on a location plan and an action plan created whilst the risk assessor is standing in front of the risk. The risk assessment can be synchronised at the premises meaning you’re provided with a live and interactive risk assessment. If you get a non-conformance rectified, you can log onto the system, sign into and reduce the overall risk rating of your premises.
Your local fire and rescue authority might be able to give you advice if you’re not sure your risk assessment’s been carried out properly. However, they can’t carry out risk assessments for you.
A fire risk assessment involves a physical inspection of the building to determine the adequacy of the existing fire precautions and the need for any additional measures. Twenty4 do this in real time using a tablet based system ensuring data is captured as it’s observed. However, of equal importance to the physical inspection is a review of fire safety management in the organisation and consideration of the human factors.
There are practical limits to the extent of the survey and evaluation of the fire precautions. For example, in undertaking a fire risk assessment, we would not carry out detailed engineering evaluation or testing of fire protection systems, emergency escape lighting, etc. However, we would inspect such systems visually. Where appropriate, we would identify the need for any further engineering evaluation, which we would be able to carry out if required.
